This is an example of a page. Unlike posts, which are displayed on your blog’s front page in the order they’re published, pages are better suited for more timeless content that you want to be easily accessible, like your About or Contact information. • Hi Jessica,

Okay, first of all try to plan your story first – you can do this in stages, such as simply coming up with an idea for a character and thinking about what could happen to them. Remember the only guideline here is that the character has something to hide, so it could be someone meeting someone they shouldn’t be meeting; or a person stealing something; or someone contemplating telling a secret they have, etc…

The best short stories don’t have a hugely convoluted plot, so don’t try to make too much happen, and show me what the character is like, rather than tell me – think about movement, dialogue, and appearance, like facial expressions.

Let me know how you get on this weekend.

      Ms Nitsche
